Putting on a Happy Face!

On Monday June 24, I had the delightful experience of joining Nina Zuck and a group of mums and their daughters from the Neot Shaked neighborhood, which has one of our Students Build a Community projects. It was the final session of a make-up course which was solely sponsored by our ESRA Netanya branch. The mums and daughters had been learning for the past eight weeks with Fifi (a wonderful course trainer) all about make-up, face painting, and business ideas.
I walked into the room to be met by a group of happy women and children enjoying their end-of-course party with face painting. The atmosphere was one of fun and commitment, all from different cultures and all united together. I also had the added pleasure of presenting certificates and gifts to everyone. I left the event feeling so uplifted and hoping our branch will be able to fund more of these projects in Netanya.
