Continuity the key as children promise to return

It was the culmination of an amazing year for the English Center after-school learning program. The children, the volunteers, Miri, the secretary and Nina Zuck, in charge of ESRA's community projects, were all emotional. Each of my volunteers said how much they had enjoyed their time at the center this year and each one looks forward to joining the program next year. What fun the children had with the games and the presentation of the certificates. They each had an opportunity to express themselves and show their feelings with laughter and tears. They also enjoyed the food and drinks afterwards. It was a great celebration. All the children said they would be back next year, and if so perhaps we could consider moving them up a class. It would be great to have continuity.
