Born in Brooklyn, Mimi Tanaman's first love was acting. She toured NYC with her high school theatre group, and made Aliya shortly after. In Israel since 1966, she holds a BA and MA (ABT) in Psychology from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

While studying and raising a family, she toured the country with the Golden City String Band bluegrass band...

Born in Brooklyn, Mimi Tanaman's first love was acting. She toured NYC with her high school theatre group, and made Aliya shortly after. In Israel since 1966, she holds a BA and MA (ABT) in Psychology from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

While studying and raising a family, she toured the country with the Golden City String Band bluegrass band as MC, singer and bass player, appearing in theaters, kibbutzim, on radio and TV. She later become involved in community theatre, acting, directing and producing with the Sharon Players.

Today, Mimi runs her own copywriting company, hi-Text. Aside from promotional writing she has also translated books, poems, and novels. Mimi has published two books available on Amazon, along with her translation of children's books in rhyme.
