Janette Segal came to live in Israel from Manchester with her husband and two small children in 1980. Today there she and her husband, four adult children and grandchildren all living in Israel.
Writes Janette about herself:
“I am passionate firstly about teaching and making however a small, positive difference in the students I teach. In over forty years I have taught all age ranges including teacher training.
Presently, I am teaching English at Bar Ilan University where I have taught for the last twenty years.
“My other passion is writing. Yet, though I have had about twenty-five books published by educational television and private  publishers, I have still not written the fiction that lies deep within me-and I can’t wait for that story to emerge and triumph!
Finally, my biggest joy is meeting ordinary yet sensational people-in particular those with a story that stays churning around in my head and always brightens a dismal cloudy day!”
