Jacqui Waterman was born and grew up in London. She went to school there, first to Solomon Wolfson in Ladbrook Grove and then to the JFS in Camden Town. She studied accountancy. In 1968 she came to Israel for a holiday to visit family but instead of going home she tore up her ticket and went to be a volunteer on Kibbutz Mishmar HaEmeq where she met her former husband. She has lived in several places in Israel and in 1977 she finally settled in Netanya with her two daughters to be near her parents who had immigrated to Israel. She has worked in Israel, her last job was at Taro Phamaceutical as assistant administrator in the R&D department. For the past few years Jacqui has been active on the ESRA Netanya committee and says she is very proud to be part of this group.
