He was chosen as Poet of the Month, USA, for his poetry book "Rose Petals Down the Stream" and is a Bearer of the Institute of Bankers Certificate, London, writer of several articles and short stories published in Great Britain, United States and South Africa, and has won awards for outstanding achievement in poetry. He was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate in English Literature from the Dean of Marlborough University, Great Britain for his impressive achievements in the field of English literature, poetry and prose.
